Commissions

Paris Vaughn is a realism artist and portraitist who creates animal portraits on commission. Available mediums:
​Pencil, Pen, Charcoal or Watercolour/Acrylic Mixed Media.

Bio

Paris grew up in rural Ontario, Canada without the array of urban distractions. Her early years were filled with many happy hours chasing butterflies, collecting insects as well as filling her home with a menagerie of animals. Woodland hikes were a regular activity with family, and served to add to her love for nature.

It wasn't long until Paris began to replicate the things she loved in nature, first with pencil, and later moving on to a variety of media. Her passion remains in realism, using the medium that suits the particular subject matter – charcoal, pencil, oil, acrylic and watercolour - but she also dabbles in concept art and cartooning. 

Paris is, for the most part, a self-taught artist with the benefit of periodic coaching from family with art background.  Her talent has contributed to the success of the graphic design and layout work she does professionally. Commissions form a large part of Paris' art base, but freelance work and photography are in the mix as well.
